Graphic Designer/Artist- Part-time

Position Overview :

The Execution Group is seeking an experienced, detailed oriented graphic designer/artist with production skills to handle very diverse design projects from conception through print. Work in a friendly, high-energy environment as part of a motivated team.

Major Tasks and Responsibilities :

  • This person should be creative, proficient in design and layout, flexible, a self-starter, eager to learn, and have excellent communication skills to interface with clients.

 

  • A major requirement is the ability to work independently and on time to sensitive projects under tight time frames.

The primary job duties :

  • Corporate identity is a major branding aspect of the business, so candidate must be knowledgeable of developing and maintaining branding guidelines for both clients and company’s  identity programs.
  • Creative layouts for reproduction in print & electronic media such as magazine, newspapers, books & websites.
  • Sign placement, floor merchandising, exhibitions & advertising 

Experience Qualifications :

Knowledge of comp. graphic design techniques; graphic- art offset printing standards & material required.

 

Design & desktop publishing software; typography or printing & bindery process a plus.

Education :

  • HS Diploma
  • 2 to 4 yr. College degree in related field and/or 5 to 6 yrs experience desired.

Technical Skills :

Macintosh, QuarkXPress, Adobe Photoshop, and Illustrator.  Knowledge of digital printing, e-marketing initiatives including HTML and scripting languages, Dreamweaver/Flash is a definite plus
